Love aint the answer, nor is work. The truth eludes me so much it hurts, but I'm still having fun and I guess that's the key,I'm a twentysomething and I'll keep bein' me

From a conversation with my dear friend Katie tonight:

i never want to become a grownup... things get much less exciting. i just don't find joy in stuffy cocktail parties or cubicals. never will i stop putting political bumper stickers on my car, nor will i stop painting my toenails hot pink. being a grown-up means you have to stop sleeping with your favorite teddybear and wearing capri pajamas to bed. so, when adulthood comes-a-knockin at my front door handing out propaganda, i'm gonna look it dead in the eye and say "no thank you, i'm not interested in what you're selling today. but try next door, i saw them installing a carseat into their camry today"
