"Dance for me."
"Please dance for me."
You begged me that day.
"I don't have any music.
I'll look like a fool.
Who dances without music?"
And here I am,
Three hundred
and sixty-four
days after I watched
you drown waterless.
And I could've danced
to the rhythm of your
gasping for air.
I still didn't dance.
And here I am,
Three hundred
and sixty-four days
later and I am
in the exact same place.
Except, you are missing.
And I'd give anything
to dance without music.
Love aint the answer, nor is work. The truth eludes me so much it hurts, but I'm still having fun and I guess that's the key,I'm a twentysomething and I'll keep bein' me
